KUBAN BATTLE COMMEMORATIVE SHIELD (Kubanschild)
Established September 20, 1943 by Adolf Hitler to reward the fighters of the Kuban bridgehead, who by months of fierce resistance allowed retreat through the Strait of Kerch of German troops in the course after the Stalingrad defeat, as of February 1 1943 and accompanied by a certificate and registered on the Wehrpass and Soldbuch.
- taking part in one of the several battles from 1/2/43 to 9/10/43;
- being injured during service in the areas of military operations;
- 60 days of continued service in the bridgehead.
